Excel Workflow Set Permission Plug-in Properties
Related Topics
The Excel Workflow Set Permission plug-in enables you to set read-only permissions for the users or groups associated with the data file and/or supporting documents in the custom workflow.
For the Team from Role type task with the Allow Replacement property to True, the second user is notified if the file is already checked-out by another user.
Notes:
- It is recommended that you add the plug-in in the beginning of the workflow so that the supporting documents and data files are locked throughout the process.
-
You must republish the solution after adding the plug-in.
Prerequisite:
On adding the Excel Workflow Set Permission plug-in after the Start node, you must add the Wait plug-in or an activity between the Start node and the Excel Workflow Set Permission plug-in.
