Rename Process Plug-in Properties

The Rename Process plug-in is used to change the name of a process from its default format, which is as follows:

<process name> - <Date>

This can be useful if you are working with parent-child processes and want to change the name of the child process because it started automatically and ignores your Name Template and/or Form Name element.

Both the process name and data item title (Excel File or Form) remains in sync.

Example

• name – [FileBaseName] - [Form Type]

This example changes the name of the process to the value in the FileBaseName column, followed by a –, followed by the value in the Form Type field.
