Excel Process Launch Plug-in

The Excel Process Launch plug-in enables you to start an Excel solution process on a specific Excel document.

Note:

If the user-defined criteria having an input file in the Query script, and AutoRun is via the Excel Process Launch plug-in, you must enter the RTV parameter in the plug-in using the same name as the input file - with the following syntax:

MARA.MATNR -- Field name on which In list criteria is there

MM02_20190507_163333.xlsx -- Input file for Query script

Sheet1-- Sheet name of the input file

C - Column name in above sheet1

2 and 0 means: Start row 2 and end row at the end of sheet for that above C column (the C column from which you can select values from the input Excel).

Binding

Attachment control binding from which the Excel file is copied. Only single files are copied from the attached control.

Title

Specify the Name/Title of the document.

This parameter is ignored if the target Excel process is configured with the data file name template - the next name from the name template is used to set the document name.

If not specified, and no name template is defined to target the Excel process, the source file name is used to set the document name.

Run Time Value

Specify the Run Time Value (RTV) as input the Excel process. This is useful when the target Excel process includes Query scripts with RTV.

Runner Node (Process originator)

This parameter can be configured in one of the following two ways:

Select a specific node: Select/Input the specific node. The person assigned to the selected node is set to document creator and process originator. If there are multiple assignees, the most recent user to have completed the activity is used.

Blank: If this parameter is left blank, the plug-in uses the user from the nearest activity (such as an Approval node) in the swim lane where the plug-in is located. If this would result in multiple users, the most recent user from the user list of is used.
