Visitor Role

The new Visitor role is for Auditors or Temporary users who do not need to use all the features of the Winshuttle Foundation suite but need read-only access to the data files' library to view or audit files (using direct URLs).

The Central Application Administrator (CAA) or Foundation Admin, or the Site Collection Admin can share direct URLs of the library paths of specific Winshuttle sites. The users with the Visitor role can access the direct URLs and perform read-only operations on the files on that path.

Enable Detailed Task List

A new Foundation Preference, Enable Detailed Task List, used with the Excel Add-In task list, enables you to view different custom workflow libraries and detailed tasks listed under them.

You can:

Prioritize tasks and sort them by selecting a column header and approve the task as per priority.
Select the columns to be made visible in the table in each Document library.

AutoRun Plug-in

You can choose to run only particular rows of a data file that had errors earlier, with the following conditions:

Rows that were not previously run, or their log column was blank.
Rows that had errors in the log column.

You can also choose to stop processing a data file as soon as the first error is encountered.

This enables you to avoid double posting a document when it needs to be processed again as the earlier server-based run resulted in partial errors.

Excel Workflow Set Permission Plug-in

The Excel Workflow Set Permission plug-in enables you to set read-only permissions for the users or groups associated with the data file and/or supporting documents in the custom workflow.

Bulk Repeating Web Services

Master data scenarios often require extension of materials to multiple plants. This process can be cumbersome as the number of these plants increase. Now, you can specify whether repeating web services should execute sequentially or as a batch to achieve better performance.

Executing repeating web services in a batch provides better performance specially when the number of records to be executed range from 20 to 100.

It is not advised to use batch uploads for more than 100 records as it may lead to time-out issues. This number may vary based on your form and it is advisable to test out with an Excel data source to determine the threshold value.

Copy Data Between Tables

You can now copy data between tables using the user interface using the Copy Table Data rule. This enables you to work easily with product data scenarios, where you may want to re-use BOM components or extend materials to different plants, to name a few.

SAP Integration Server

The SAP Integration Server config file (ShuttleRule.xml) can be changed to include .mht MIME type information. This enables users to attach different types of documents to SAP. WIN-34244
