Customizing RUNNER for QUERY

Application Defaults

In RUNNER for QUERY, you set options from the Options button on the Tools tab.

The Application Defaults settings contain:

Path defaults

Type any of the default file paths for the following files:

Microsoft Excel defaults

Sheet name: Default Excel sheet to use when running your query file. The default is Sheet 1.

Start row: The default row is 2.

Log Column/Cell: Specify the default column or cell into which log information is written.

Disable RUNNER for QUERY add-in: Select this option if Excel files take a long time to open or if the add-in is incompatible with the Excel add-in or with other applications.

Other defaults

Default number of records to download: Specify the default number of records for each download.

Production server warning (Prod. Svr. Warning)

You might not want to run critical data on a production server. With the Production server warning box, you can maintain a list of SAP production servers. Each time you log on to a listed production server, a warning appears to remind you that this is a production server.

To display production server warnings

  1. On the Tools tab, click Options .
  2. Click Prod. Svr. Warning.
  3. To see a list of available servers, click Add.
  4. In the SAP Logon pad, select the server you want to add, and then logon with your user name and password.

    The server is added to the list. Do this for every server you want to add.

  5. To enable the warning, select the Enable Warning check box.

To delete a server from the production server warning list

  1. On the Tools tab, click Options .
  2. Click Prod. Svr. Warning.
  3. Select the server you want to delete from the list, and then click Delete.
