Studio 12.1 System Requirements

Upgrading from Studio 10.x
You can run Studio 12.1 and Studio 10.x on the same computer (just as you can run Studio 11.x and Studio 10.x on the same computer), but scripts that are opened in 10.x will be set to run automatically.
To run Transaction 10.x scripts in Studio 12.1, you need to save the script as 12.1, as follows:
- Open the 10.x script in Studio 12.1.
- Click File, and then click Save.
- In the Save box, click the Version list, and then click Transaction.
Also, the Excel Add-ins cannot be active at the same time. To inactivate the 10.x Excel Add-ins, do the following:
- Start Excel, and open a blank workbook.
- Click the File tab, and then click Options.
- Click Add-Ins.
- In the Manage list, click COM Add-ins, and then click Go.
- Uncheck the QUERY and TRANSACTION boxes, and then click OK.
Studio - Foundation compatibility matrix
With the exception of Studio 11.0 (which is not compatible with any version of Foundation), every version of Studio is compatible with the same-numbered version of Foundation.
Studio 11.2.0 is compatible with the 11.2.0 and 11.2.5 versions of Foundation.
