Working with Evolve
Concurrent logons
You can log on to two computers at the same time. If you log on to a third computer, Evolve notifies you that only two logons are allowed, and the third session is disconnected.
Synchronize logs to Evolve
If you previously used a stand-alone version of Transaction or Query and now work with Evolve, you can send existing logs to your Evolve site so that user data for reporting is available in Evolve.
- On the Log Viewer page, click Sync to Evolve.
- Existing logs are sent to the Evolve site. If for some reason, some of the logs are not synchronized, you are notified and can re-synchronize the logs.
- When all the logs are successfully synchronized, the Sync to Evolve button will no longer be available.
Sign in with a different user name
At any time, whether you are starting a session or are in the middle of a session, you can sign in as a different user.
With the Change User feature, you can use the same credential to sign in to different domains.
- Click the File tab.
- Click Account, and then click Switch Account.
- Type the user name and password, and then click OK.
Sign in to a different site
In Studio 20.0 with Evolve, you can switch between apps—for example, between a non-production app and a production app, or between a development app, a staging app, and a production app.
- Click the File tab, and then click Account.
- Click Select Different App.
- Choose the app that you want, and then click OK.
Notes:
The name of the app you select will appear under “License retrieved from section.”
The list of apps is configured on the Evolve site.
