Validating an Address
When you enter an address for an Account, Contact, or Prospect, the record is automatically validated when you click outside an address field.
If the address is successfully validated, a green check mark () is shown in the Cleansing Status column.
If the address cannot be validated, a red "X" () is shown in the Cleansing Status column.
If there are multiple candidate addresses, you are prompted to select one. Select the
address you want to use then click Pick Address.
Note: To close the
Candidate Address window, click on the Cancel
button located in the upper left of the window. Do not close the window using the "X" button
in the upper right corner.
Note that the Latitude and Longitude fields are only populated for addresses in the U.S. and Canada. The Location Code, Match Code, DPV, and RDI fields are not currently used.
