Metadata Insights

The Lineage & Impact Analysis tool can now display information about entities on the canvas. Click the properties icon then click an entity icon. The entity's properties are displayed. You can add notes as well. Any notes you enter can be viewed by other users.

You can now profile data in flat files on your system, server, or a configured FTP server. This is in addition to the profiling capability on data pulled from the connections configured in Spectrum™ Technology Platform and models you create in Metadata Insights.

For flat files, you can pull data from multiple folders on your system, server, and FTP server, in any combination you prefer.
