Enterprise Data Integration

Drivers provided with Data Integration Module

In releases before 12.0 SP1, you would see default JDBC drivers if you installed the Spectrum™ Technology Platform. Now, drivers for SQL, Oracle, and PostgreSQL are provided with the Data Integration Module.

Note: As of Release 12.0 SP1, you must install both the Spectrum™ Technology Platform and the Data Integration Module to see the default JDBC drivers.

Data Integration Module includes drivers for SQL, Oracle, and PostgreSQL are provided, as well as drivers for other types of databases. If the Data Integration Module does not come with a driver for the type of database you need, you can add a JDBC driver.

If you want to connect to a database type other than SQL, Oracle, or PostgreSQL, you must add the JDBC driver before defining a connection.

Microsoft Dynamics 365 on-premise

Spectrum™ Technology Platform can now access data in Microsoft Dynamics 365 on-premises.

Use the Management Console to define a connection to Microsoft Dynamics 365 on-premises. Once you do this, you can create flows in Enterprise Designer that can read data from, and write data to, Microsoft Dynamics 365 on-premises.

Oracle Eloqua Connector

You can now connect to Oracle Eloqua. Once the connection is defined, you can read data from your Oracle Eloqua data source using Metadata Insights, and consume the data in Spectrum™ Technology Platform flows.

Parsing delimited data

The Field Parser stage can now extract fields from delimited data in the input file. In stage configuration, you need to enter the Field Separator and Text Qualifier used in the input file, then add and define details of the output fields.

The output can be in multiple fields or formatted as a list (hierarchical display of the data).

PrestoDB Connector

The function supported through PrestoDB is limited to read from Hive, MySQL, PostgresSQL, and MSSQL server.

Salesforce Connector

Bulk load and bulk fetch is now supported for Salesforce connector through Metadata Insights.

Vertica Connector

You can now read and write to Vertica database via JDBC connection.
