Configuring Global Type Ahead

To configure the Siebel Global Type Ahead options, go to the Options Manager screen of the Siebel application, and click Type Ahead in the Options list on the left pane. You can perform these configurations:

• Enable/disable the type ahead feature
• Define the type of fuzzy match
• Specify the maximum number of records to be displayed for type ahead suggestions

To configure the type ahead options, perform these steps:

1. From the Siebel window, click Navigate > Site Map.
2. Click Administration - Group 1 Data Quality Administration.
3. Click the Options Manager tab and perform these configurations:

   Options	Description
   Type Ahead	Select if you want to Enable or Disable the type ahead feature.
   Max Candidates	Specify the maximum number of records you want to be displayed as suggestions. The maximum value it can have is 20.
   Fuzzy Match	Indicate the fuzzy match type for PB type ahead. The options are: Hard Match Soft Match None
