Stopping a Cluster
To stop an entire cluster:
- Identify which nodes are seed nodes. To do this, open the file SpectrumFolder/server/app/conf/spectrum-container.properties and look at the nodes listed in the spectrum.cluser.seeds property.
- Stop each Spectrum™ Technology Platform server in the cluster, making sure that the last node you stop is a seed node.
-
Change the working directory to the Spectrum™ Technology Platform server's
bin directory, source the setup file, then type the
following command:
./server.stop
.Warning: To prevent loss of data when starting the cluster, the first node you start must be the last node that was stopped, and that node must be a seed node. - Make a note of the last node you stopped. You will need this information when starting up the cluster.
-
Right-click the Spectrum™ Technology Platform icon in the Windows system
tray and select Stop Spectrum™.
