Generating Score cards

Score cards are a graphical representation of your data health. It helps you measure and keep track of the improvement in quality of your data.

To create a score card, you need to:
  1. Add data sources
  2. Define the data quality metric to be used
  3. Build rules for each of the data quality metric
  4. Define the threshold to indicate if the data is bad, acceptable, or good
  5. Save the scorecard (The Save button also runs the score card.)

The Profile & Monitor module of Metadata Insights gives you the capability of creating and assigning score cards to your data on parameters, such as accuracy, consistency, and completeness. It also gives you the flexibility of defining your own parameters and accordingly script rules.

The scores are assigned based on the rules you configure and threshold limits you set for the data.
