Feature Layer as an Overlay

A feature layer can also be used as an overlay in a SOAP or REST request.

For a demo of the SOAP request, go to the Spectrum Spatial SOAP Mapping Service Demo Page at http://<server>:<port>/Spatial/MappingService/DemoPage.html. Choose Render Named Map with Overlay and Render Named Map with FeatureLayer Overlay.
