| documentation | This element identifies attributes in the associated DBDataSource that are to be used for specific purposes. The specific purposes are: feature geometry, feature geometry style, label geometry, label style and primary key. The geometry can be either a spatial object (FeatureGeometryAttribute or DataSourceGeometryReference) or simple x/y coordinates (FeatureXYAttributes).
Depending on the data source, it is possible that some or all of this metadata can be discovered when the data source is based on a single table. When the data source is based on a Query, this metadata may be required since discovery is not always possible. In all cases, any values that cannot be discovered but are needed must be identified in this element. |
