Creating a Match Key from Repository

The Copy From Repository option allows you to save significant time by re-using the published match keys from the repository. You can use the match key as-is or modify it to create a new match key.
Note: You can view or modify an existing match key from the repository only if you have the required user privileges. For more information, see Configuring Access Control for Match Key.
To create a match key from the repository, perform these steps:
  1. In the Create Match Key workspace, select Copy From Repository.
  2. In the Match Key Repository field, select an existing match key with pre-defined rules from the drop-down list.
  3. Select OK.
The match key appears in the Create Match Key workspace.
Note: If you want to create a match key as-is, skip steps 4 and 5.
  4. (Optional) If you want to enter a new name for the match key, use the Match key name field.
  5. (Optional) If you want to add new rules to the match key, select Add.
  6. On the right corner, select Create.
Your match key is created and appears on the Match Keys panel located on the left corner. You can see the preview of the match key at the bottom of the Match Key Generator Options page.
  7. (Optional) If you want to store your match key in the repository, publish the match key.
  8. On the top-right corner of the page, select Apply.
