Accessing the Data Stewardship Portal

Before you perform this procedure, you must have a user name and password required to access the Spectrum server on your network. Login credentials are normally provided by the Spectrum Technology Platform administrator.

You can open Spectrum and the Data Stewardship Portal using either the Windows Start menu or a web browser.

All of these methods open the Data Stewardship Portal dashboard.

Use the Windows Start menu to access the Data Stewardship Portal

You can use this Windows Start menu if you are working on the computer that is running the Spectrum Technology Platform server.

  1. Click Start > Precisely > Welcome Page.
  2. Click Spectrum Data Quality > Data Stewardship Portal > Open the Data Stewardship Portal.
  3. On the Sign in page, enter your Spectrum user name and password to sign in.

Access the Data Stewardship Portal from the Spectrum Home page

To perform this procedure, you need to know the name of the host server running Spectrum Technology Platform and the port number used by Spectrum Technology Platform.
  1. Open a web browser and navigate to http://SpectrumServer:port/.

    For example,

    http://myserver:8080

  2. Click Spectrum Data Quality > Data Stewardship Portal > Open the Data Stewardship Portal.
  3. On the Sign in page, enter a valid user name and password to sign in.

Access the Data Stewardship Portal directly

To perform this procedure, you need to know the name of the host server running Spectrum Technology Platform and the port number used by Spectrum Technology Platform.
  1. Open a web browser and navigate to http://SpectrumServer:port/bsmportal.

    For example,

    http://myserver:8080/bsmportal

  2. On the Sign in page, enter a valid user name and password to sign in.
