To upgrade Enterprise Designer

  1. Uninstall the existing client tools by going to Start > Precisely > Client Tools > Setup.
  2. Make sure that you have .NET 4.6 installed on the client machine.
    This is a newer version of .NET than was required in previous releases. Note that Windows 10 comes with this version of .NET installed by default.
  3. Download the client tools installer from the Spectrum Technology Platform welcome page, http://SpectrumServer:Port.
    The default port is 8080.
  4. Run the installer.
