Configuring Service

Use the Service Configuration feature to consume the Spectrum services in building rules for score carding. You can use both the default Spectrum services as well as the services you have configured using the different Spectrum stages you are licensed for. This configuration helps you reuse the transformations designed with various Spectrum stages on your data.

Note: This is an optional feature.

On the Service Configuration stage of the Create Scorecard page, use the Services drop down list to select the required service.
The Service input fields displays the list of the fields used as input in the selected service. Use the corresponding Source input fields drop down to select field from your input data.

Note: The data types of input fields and source fields with which those are mapped should be the same.
Service output fields Shows the output fields in the selected service. Select the fields that you want in your output. You can use the type-ahead search box (above the column) to find out the required fields.

Note: Data in the selected field will be used as input when you configure the rules. The field name will have this format: <Service Name> ~ <Column Output Field>.
Click the forward arrow on the top right of the page to move to the next stage.

Note: At any point, to go back and edit details in the previous stage, click the backward arrow on the top right of the page.
