Adding WFS Feature Types

  1. From above the feature types tree, click the Add Feature Types button .
  2. On the Add Feature Type screen, add a named table by clicking the Select table button beside the Reference Table field.
    On the Select a table dialog, expand the tree view to locate the named table to add. Clicking on a table name activates the Select button.

    To search for the named table, select the List button. This lists available named tables and you can filter the list.

  3. In the New Feature Name field, type a unique name for the new feature you are adding.
  4. Beside the Repository Folder field, click the Select folder button.
    On the Select a folder dialog, expand the tree view to locate a named table folder. Clicking on a folder name activates the Select button.

    To search for a folder, select the List button. This lists available named table folders and you can filter the list.

  5. Expand the Select Namespace field, drop-down list to select a namespace to associate the new feature to.
    To create a new namespace, clicking the Add button. On the Create New Namespace dialog, enter the URI and prefix for the new namespace, and click Add.
  6. Click Save.
    WFS feature type displays in the treeview under the namespace that you selected in the previous step.
