Table Details Page

When you click or select a named table in Spectrum Spatial Manager, a page appears with detailed information about that resource.

Table Name
The name of the named table. To rename the table, hover over the name and click the pencil icon to enter edit mode (see Renaming Named Resources and Folders).
A description of the named table. Click Add to enter a description or click an existing description to edit it. There are no restrictions on what you can enter for a description, including no minimum required number of characters.
Words or phrases that describe your repository content and allow you to more effectively search the repository. If you have the necessary permissions, you can add, edit (by moving your mouse over the keywords so that a pencil icon appears), and delete keywords. To keep your set of keywords manageable and easier to search, case is respected (for example, you are allowed to add the keyword "MyMap) but variations by case are not allowed (for example, you cannot have two separate keywords for "MyMap" and "mymap").
Interactive Map
Click to open an interactive preview of a map that is rendered using the data from this table. Click the map to open a larger version that allows you to pan and zoom.
Important: To prevent performance issues, the interactive map preview is not automatically displayed. Be aware that previewing the map may have a detrimental effect on server performance; for example, if the table contains a large quantity of data, the process to render the map still runs even when switching to another resource.
Resource Info Tab
Information about the resource, including its name (that is, its path in the repository), its type (named table), the date it was created, and the date it was last modified (displayed in the locale of your browser).

Also includes information specific to the named table's datasource, which varies depending on the type of table. For some table types (TAB, shapefile, and GeoPackage tables), this also includes the full server path to the underlying datasource. For shapefile tables, the character set is also displayed as well as the setting to create a spatial index. For XY tables, this tab displays the datasource (database table) as well as the X and Y columns, and the named style if applicable. For view tables, the MI SQL query is displayed. For MS SQL Server tables with spatial aggregation enabled, the geohash and precision are also shown. For all types of named tables, it also shows the coordinate system, whether the volatility flag is set to true or false (see Data Source Volatility for information about this flag), and whether it is read-only or writable (that is, whether you can perform an insert or update operation on it).

To edit the named table, click Modify (see Modifying a Datasource for more information). This link does not appear if you do not have Modify permissions for the table or uses inline references instead of a connection.

Columns Tab
Information about the table's structure, including column names, data types, whether each column is indexed or read-only, and whether it is nullable. Primary keys are also indicated.
Note: If you are using Oracle, read-only columns cannot be automatically determined based on metadata. If you need to mark Oracle auto-increment columns as read-only, click the Edit button to do so. This update is only required for the primary key of a table. Be aware that altering the read-only state of a column may affect existing applications that perform insert or update operations on this table.
Sample Rows Tab
Displays up to the first 10 rows of a table, allowing you to assess the health of the table and understand the data as a means of determining whether it is appropriate for your needs. Does not display style, geometry, or raster columns.
This tab allow the admins to view and edit all the users and roles that have permission for this resource and to see permissions on the referenced resources. See Permissions Tab for more details.
