Viewing Phrase Analysis Results

After you run a phrase analysis, you can view the results which include statistics for Phrase, Words, Value Count, Frequency, Distance %, and the position of the phrase in an attribute.

Note:

If no phrase analysis has been run on an attribute, you will not see options for drilling down to phrases and viewing results.

In the Navigation View, click the attribute on which you ran phrase analysis.

The Summary Data View for the attribute opens.

On the Content Summary tab, expand Consistency.

The total number of analyzed phrases displays, along with those for Pattern Count and Mask Count.

Click Phrases.

The Phrases by Position List View displays.

Column Name	Description
Phrase	Word or phrase discovered by the analysis
Words	Number of words in the phrase
Value Count	Number of distinct values that contain the phrase
Frequency	Number of rows that contain the phrase
Dist%	A measure of how much of the attribute contains the phrase
Start Count	Number of distinct values which start with the phrase
Start Frq.	Percentage of rows where the value starts with the phrase
End Count	Number of distinct values which end with the phrase
End Frq.	Percentage of rows where the value ends with the phrase
Middle Count	Number of distinct values where the phrase occurs in the middle
Middle Frq.	Percentage of rows where the phrase occurs in the middle of the value
Both Count	Number of distinct values which start and end with the phrase
Both Frq.	Percentage of rows where the value starts and ends with the phrase

To drill down to matching values, right-click one or more rows and select one of the following:

Drill down to all Matching Values.

■

Drill down to Matching Values at the start.

■

Drill down to Matching Values at the end.

■

Drill down to Matching Values in the middle.

■

Drill down to Matching Values at both ends.

A Values List View displays the rows for the selected matching values.
