VeriMove Running Slower Than Previously

Many files open and close during processing by VeriMove. Over time the files get fragmented over large areas of the hard drive. Also, VeriMove should be a dedicated system. Other running applications could affect the throughput. To correct this problem, follow the steps described next.

1. Optimize your hard drive.
2. If you have partitioned drives, ensure that you are not splitting the Virtual Memory between the partitioned drives.
3. Close other running applications.
4. Make sure you do not have a screen saver running.
5. Check if your input file is sorted in ZIP Code order. Files will generally run faster if sorted in ZIP Code order.
