Select From Role

This is the default setting when selecting workflow participants when a process is started. This setting provides a user interface control for each Swim Lane and allows you to select the workflow participants for each Swim Lane.

• If PersonFromRole is selected as the Type, only a single user can be selected as the participant.
• If TeamFromRole is selected as the Type, multiple users can be selected as participants.

This resolver requires the presence of a Process Control element on the form.

For example, in the Swimlane Properties PersonFromRole / TeamFromRole , you specify a SharePoint group from which you can pick the participants.

The participant is selected when the form is run by the form user (through form’s Process Control).
