Working with Journal Entry

  1. Open a new workbook in Excel or select an existing workbook to upload. Click the Winshuttle for Journal Entry tab.
  2. Click the Select Licensing button.
  3. Click Winshuttle Connect.
  4. Click Logon to Connect and enter your credentials. Set proxy settings, if necessary.

    The Remember Login box is selected by default so that the computer always remembers your credentials. The button indicates that you are logged in to Connect.

  5. The green light in the Logged on to Connect menu indicates that you are online with Connect.
  6. If you must change your logon settings, save any open Excel sheets, click the Logged on to Connect arrow, and then click Sign In as a Different User.

Change licensing modes

  1. Save any open Excel sheets.
  2. Click the Logged on to Connect arrow, and then click Switch to Central.

    A message appears to tell you that the application must close to change licensing modes. To change the mode, click OK.

  3. Open Excel again.
  4. Click the Winshuttle for Journal Entry tab.
  5. Click Logon to Central, and enter your credentials.

Logging on to SAP in other languages

When parking or posting a file in Journal Entry, you can log on to SAP in any language supported by SAP. In SAP, the document will open in the language that the author logged on with when the document was created.
