Browse a Databricks data catalog

Perform this procedure to inspect data assets on a cataloged Databricks connection.

On the sidebar menu, click Data Catalog .
This expands the Host list. A host represents an instance a data server.
Click the Databricks Connection for the Databricks instance that you want to browse.
Multiple connections are listed when there is more than one cataloged connection for the host.

This expands the Schema list.
Click the Schema that you want to browse.
This expands the list of cataloged Tables in the Databricks database.
Click the table that you want to browse.

Completing this procedure opens field information for the selected table. For each field, the columns in the table show the Field Name, Data Type, and when defined, the Semantic Type.
