<MUP> and </MUP>
The MUP tag group identifies parameters for processing multiple-up inputs and outputs. Each Input and Output tag group can contain one MUP tag group.
Note: The MUP tag group is not valid for Metacode, PostScript, and PCL print streams.
You do not need to use the MUP tag group if the print stream appears to be single-up and you are using printer resources, such as a Xerox JDL, AFP PAGEDEF, or N-Up or enhanced N-Up in an AFP FORMDEF, to print multiple up. Using the MUP tag group in this case will only increase overall processing time.
Note:
Enrichment assumes each PTX record belongs with a single logical page. Enrichment will determine what is the logical page based on the first XY combination it finds. The PTX record will be assigned to that page.
