Modifying a Remote Server

If you make changes on a remote server, such as adding or removing modules or creating new services, you must refresh the remote server information on the local server. To do this, open Management Console, go to Resources > Remote Servers, and click the Refresh button . The information for all your remote servers is updated with the latest configuration information from each remote server. The refresh process may take a few minutes.

If you want to modify the connection properties of a remote server, such as the user name and password used to connect to the remote server, follow these steps:

  1. Open Management Console.
  2. Go to Resources > Remote Servers.
  3. Check the box next to the remote server you want to modify then click the Modify button .
  4. Make the changes you want and click Save.
