Input
Find Nearest locates the geometries that are the nearest to a given location.
Field Name | Description |
---|---|
Search Table | |
Named table | Select a named table to search from the repository. |
Input Geometry | Specify the input as either the name of an existing geometry field or create a point from a pair. The Geometry and X/Y fields are mutually exclusive (you must choose one or the other). |
Geometry | Select the geometry field that is provided by previous stages. |
Longitude/Latitude (X/Y) | Select the Longitude (X) and Latitude (Y) fields
that are provided by previous stages. The drop-down lists contain
all the fields of type string and numeric. By default, the coordinate system is set to WGS84. If required, change the coordinate system to match the input X and Y fields. |
Input From Previous Stage | You can view these input fields from the previous stage by clicking the channel between the stages to open the Field Transform Options dialog box. |
MaxCandidates | The maximum number of points of interest to return. By default there is no value assigned to this field. A field must be matched from a previous stage to the MaxCandidates field. If you specify a value in this field, you will override the default value specified in the Limit the number of returned records setting in the Find Nearest stage. |
MaxDistance | The radius of the search area in which to look for nearby points of
interest. By default there is no value assigned to this field. A field must be matched from a previous stage to the MaxDistance field. If you specify a value in both this field and the MaxDistanceUnit field, you will override the default value specified in the Limit the search distance setting in the Find Nearest stage. |
MaxDistanceUnit | The unit of measure of the MaxDistance value (accepted values are miles, centimeters, feet, inches, kilometers, meters, or yards). |
