Customizing the Label using Label Properties
You can customize the label style for non-raster spatial layer in Spectrum Spatial Analyst. To edit the label properties, follow the steps given below:
- Click or touch the right side menu to open the Map Legend panel.
- From the Map Legend, click or touch the map layer whose label you want to style.

In the map layer, click or touch the icon to switch on
the Label.
The label icon turns on.

Click on the Overflow
button
and then click Label Properties from the context menu.
The Label Properties page opens and the Labels on the layer become visible. All fields are editable now. You can edit one or more label properties and observe the change on the layer by clicking Preview on Map button.
- If required, change the label source by selecting a different column from the Label Source drop-down list.
- Edit other label properties as desired and click on the Preview on Map button to see a preview of the label on the map.
- Click Apply to apply the changes you have made.

Click Save Project to save the label settings in the Map Project.
When you reopen this map project in future, your changes will be preserved.
- Click Cancel to discard your changes and return to Map Legend.
