Upgrade WFM on ECC6 70x, 731, 740

Prerequisite

WINSHTLQ WFM version 6.1, 6.2, 10.0, 10.1, 10.2, 10.3, 10.4, or 10.5, or Winshuttle FM 10.6 or 10.7

Upgrade

Step 1

  1. Log on to your SAP system in client 000.

    Important: Do NOT use user SAP* or DDIC.

  2. Start transaction SAINT.
  3. Click Installation Package > Load Packages > Front End.

  4. Upload the file WNSC10LU.SAR.
  5. Decompress to a .PAT file.
  6. Click Start.
  7. Click Continue.
  8. Click Continue.
  9. Select the OCS package and click Continue.
  10. If the Add Modification Adjustment Transports to the Queue window appears, click No.

  11. Click Start options.
  12. Select Start in background immediately and click the green check mark to continue.
  13. On the next screen, click the green check mark to import the package.
  14. If the Open data extraction requests window appears, the add-on has an independent unique namespace. Click Skip.

  15. Click Yes to continue the import.
  16. Click Refresh or press Ctrl+F6 to refresh the screen.
  17. When the installation finishes, click Logs to view the import logs and confirm that the installation was completed successfully.
  18. After you view the logs, return to the Status/Remarks screen and click Finish.

Step 2

The transport import is a standard procedure that consists of two files, K900nnn.W6D and R900nnn.W6D, where nnn is an SAP-generated number.

  1. Go to the DIR_TRANS path (on Windows NT /usr/sap/trans; on UNIX, \usr\sap\trans).
  2. Copy the K file to the "cofiles" directory.
  3. Copy the R file to the "data" directory.
  4. Log on to SAPGUI.
  5. Start transaction STMS and select the import queue for the target system.
  6. On the Others menu, click Extras > Other Requests > Add. Enter request W6DK900nnn.
  7. Select the request number W6DK900nnn.
  8. On the Option menu, click Request > Import to import the W6DK900nnn transport file into the system.

    Important:
    If your target client is not 000, be sure to select the Ignore Non-Permitted Table Class option.

    If the Basis release is higher than 700, be sure to select the Ignore Invalid Component Version option.
