Import the transport files for new SAP R/3 470 installations

Prerequisite

Complete the steps in Install Winshuttle add-on v11 on SAP R/3 470.

Import

The transport import is a standard procedure that consists of two files, K900nnn.W4D and R900nnn.W4D, where nnn is an SAP-generated number.

  1. Go to the DIR_TRANS path (on Windows NT, /usr/sap/trans; on UNIX, \usr\sap\trans).
  2. Copy the K file to the "cofiles" directory.
  3. Copy the R file to the "data" directory.
  4. Log on in SAPGUI.
  5. Start transaction STMS and select the import queue for the target system.
  6. On the Others menu, click Extras > Other Requests > Add. Enter request W4DK900nnn.
  7. Select the request number W4DK90nnnn.
  8. On the Option menu, click Request, and then click Import to import the W4DK900nnn transport file into the system.

    Important: If your target client is not 000, select the Ignore Non-Permitted Table Class option.
