Introducing Winshuttle DIRECT

Creating TRANSACTION scripts from DIRECT templates

In TRANSACTION, when you are creating a script from a DIRECT template, consider these limitations on data formats.

Date formats in DIRECT templates: TRANSACTION scripts created using DIRECT templates expect inputs for date fields in the format yyyymmdd. This date format is needed for date data in Excel files that will upload data into SAP.

Case formats in DIRECT: For some input fields, character data must be entered in uppercase. For example, to provide line items information for a sales order, the material number should always be entered in uppercase characters, such as DPC-110. Failing to use uppercase characters results in an error message saying that the material number could not be located.
