Scenario 1

No Winshuttle FM is installed (No previous version of any FM exists/New customers/Fresh systems) – See the New Install Folder.

Please go to SAP transaction code SE16 and check for existence of component "WINSHTLQ" in table CVERS.

If the entry does not exist in table CVERS for component "WINSHTLQ", please continue as per step 1 mentioned below.

If the component entry exists in table, please proceed as per Scenario 2.

Step 1

WNC11DIU.SAR: This is the single/common file for Installation or Upgrade for WFM (Winshuttle Function Module), version 20.2.8 on fresh systems.

Step 2

K902169.EH3 and R902169.EH3: Transport files that need to be imported into end user client after installing WNC11DIU.SAR;

These contain pre-ship entries of Winshuttle tables (Query security, Doc attachment, Long Text) and Custom roles.

Step 3

K900099.EH7 and R900099.EH7: Transport files that need to be imported into end user client after installing WNC11DIU.SAR.

Detailed information of Scenario is given in document Long Text issue on EHP7 or EHP8.

Note- This is applicable only for SAP BASIS Version 740 or 750.

Scenario 2

Winshuttle FM 10.6/10.7/v11/v11.0.1/v11.1.1/v11.2/v11.3/v11.4/v11.2.12/v11.4.1/v12.0/12.0.1/(12.0.2*)/12.1/20.0/20.1/20.2 pre-existing- See the Upgrade Folder

Please go to SAP transaction code SE16 and check for existence of component "WINSHTLQ" in table CVERS.

If the entry exists in table CVERS for component "WINSHTLQ", please continue as per step 1 mentioned below.

If the component entry doesn't exist in table, please proceed as per Scenario 1 mentioned above.

Step 1

Step 2

K902171.EH3 and R902171.EH3: Transport files that need to be imported into end user client after upgrade with WNC11DIU.SAR;

These contain pre-ship entries of Winshuttle tables (Doc attachment, Long text) and Custom roles.

Step 3

Go to SA38/SE38 and run the program "/WINSHTLQ/TRN_UPGRADE_TABLE" for all listed tables i.e. /WINSHTLQ/QREPRM, /WINSHTLQ/QRSAOB and /WINSHTLQ/TRCTAB.

This program creates client-dependent entries in table. Please run this program on SAP client, where the changes are expected. It will add the values for the WFM v20.2.8

Step 4

K900099.EH7 and R900099.EH7: Transport files that need to be imported into end user client after installing WNC11DIU.SAR.

Detailed information of Scenario is given in document Long Text issue on EHP7 or EHP8.

Note- This is applicable only for SAP BASIS Version 740 or 750.

Scenario 3

Only Transaction FM version 10.5, 10.4.1, or 10.3 is already installed.

First, remove older Transaction FMs. See Delete the function module for previous versions of Transaction.

Removal of Transaction WFM, all previous versions, is required from version 10.6 onwards, because the WFM uses a single installer for Winshuttle products.

Next, follow the steps that are in Scenario 1.

Scenario 4

Only previously installed Query FM either of v6.0/6.1/6.2/10.0/10.1/10.2/10.3/10.4/10.5 pre-existing - See the Upgrade Folder.

WNC11DIU.SAR: This is the upgrade file for upgrade to function module version 20.2.8 (from any of the previous query versions)

Pre-requisite either of Query WFM (component WINSHTLQ) 6.0/6.1/6.2/10.0/10.1/10.2/10.3/10.4/10.5 version.

The installation instructions can be taken up from document Server Side Installation & Upgrade Instructions - WFM v20.2.8

(This will implement FM side functionality v20.2.8 for Studio (comprising of Transaction, Query, Runner, Direct, JEM) )

This combined installer resides in component as used by previous query wfm, since 10.6.

Scenario 5

Both Transaction and Query Winshuttle FM version prior to 10.6 are already installed.

First, follow the steps that are in Scenario 3.

Next, follow the steps that are in Scenario 4.

Scenario 6

Want to remove / uninstall the WINSHTLQ components.

After fresh installation of WINSHTLQ components or after upgrading an existing WINSHTLQ components to v20.2.8, if user need to uninstall this then same can be done.
