Catalog Connection settings
The Catalog Connection panel expands when you choose Catalog a connection on the Connections page.
The Catalog Connection settings panel expands when you select a connection on the Data Quality Connections page. On this page you can view the catalog status for databases in a connected data source and add or remove databases from the catalog.
- Connection
- The name of the connection that you are cataloging.
- Connection Type
- The connection type of the connection that you are cataloging.
- Catalog Summary
- Shows the overall status for catalog operations on this data source.
- Start Cataloging
- Click this button to catalog databases that are currently selected in the Database table.
- Stop Cataloging
- Click this button to stop cataloging databases that are currently selected in the Database table. Selected databases initially in a cataloging state will show as partially cataloged.
- Remove From Catalog
- Click this button to remove databases that are currently selected from the catalog. Selected databases will reverse to an uncataloged state.
- Update
- Click this button to update the status and completion time for databases shown in the table.
Databases table
The Databases table lists databases in a connected data source and their catalog status. In this table, you can select databases to add or remove them to the catalog.
- Database
- Shows databases in a connected data source.
- Status
- Shows whether a databases is cataloged, being cataloged, partially cataloged, or not cataloged. If errors occur while a database is cataloged, the numbers of errors show here.
- Last Completed
- The date and time a database was fully cataloged.
