Creating Projects

From the Projects page, click on the New Project button. You will be prompted to enter the following information:

New project details


Field name	Mandatory	Description
Name	Yes	The name of the project. This must be unique within the Designer repository.
Description	No	Provide a meaningful description that for example, conveys the goals of the project to all the participants of the project. Note that you can include a description of up to 8000 characters.
Project Code	No	The project code can be used to correlate a project with a project or other entity held outside the EngageOne™ system. The code can be used as another way to identify a project.
Due Date	No	The due date is used to indicate the date by which the project should be completed. If this is provided, it can be used to sort the list of projects by when they are due.
Last Modified	Generated by the system	Indicates the date and time that the project details were last modified.

Note:

Field restrictions:
- A Project Name or Project Code field cannot exceed 256 characters in length.
- The Project Description field cannot exceed 8000 in length.
- Project names must not contain slashes.
On clicking the Save button, you will be allowed to associate assets and review processes to the project.
