Tasks statuses
A task exists in different states during its lifecycle, as follows:
Displayed state | Meaning | Possible actions |

To do (only you) | Only you can claim this task. The task has not been claimed. |
You can claim or reassign the task. |
To do (you or others) | You can claim the task; so can any other users that have been assigned as reviewers. The task has not been claimed. |
You can claim or reassign the task. |
To do (others) | You cannot claim this task. The task has not been claimed. |
You can view task details. You can reassign. |
In progress (others) | The task has been claimed by another user. | You can view task details. |
In progress (you) | You have claimed this task. |
Progress the task to completion of the process. You can reassign the task. |
Note:
- A task cannot be claimed by the creator of the task.

The possible actions listed in the table above will be dependent on the permissions assigned to you by your system administrator.

For tasks that are assigned a status of To do (others), in addition to its details you will also be able to view the task's history as shown in the screenshot below.
- The Asset field within the Details section can either be a template or an active content name. When the asset is of type active content, the field Preview Template shows the name of the template used to present active content changes.
