Finalist reason code 9. This reason code provides information on how Finalist processed the firm name portion of the address. This system variable is only populated if <CASSTYPE> is set to LPC or NATIVE.

  • For Finalist on mainframe systems, the value is one of the following:
    • 0—The firm name in the input address either was valid as is, or there was no firm name in the input address.
    • 1—Finalist was able to correct the input firm name and the user did not request Input Firm.
    • 2—Finalist was able to correct the input firm name and the user requested Input Firm.
    • 3—The apartment number or suite number is missing or invalid.
    • 9—Finalist was not able to correct the firm name and no additional information is available.
  • For Finalist on UNIX, Linux, or Windows, the value is one of the following:
    • 0—The address was successfully coded.
    • 9—The address could not be coded.
