%%OUT_FILE

The number of the Filemax file or dynamically allocated file that contains the current document.

Note: If you plan to use Reprint with multiple Reprint group <FILE> tags, you must include %%OUT_FILE in the Reprint Index or use the <IDVAR> tag in the Reprint control file. Refer to the Enrichment Reprint User Guide for more information.

Valid in Control File Tags

This system variable is valid in the Control File when used in the following tags.

  • <ADDPART>
  • <FIELD> (with field replace, meaning the [action] parameter is set to R)
  • <SIDEPART>
  • <SORTPART>

Valid in Rule File Sections

This system variable is valid in the following Rule File sections.

Note: %%OUT_FILE contains the value from the previous document, not the current document.
