EnterWorks 10.4.3 Known Limitations
Product release: February 3, 2022
Release Notes updated: June 9, 2022
The following are known limitations of EnterWorks 10.4.3. Numbers in parentheses indicate associated Support and Jira tracking tickets.
Exports
- Prior to EnterWorks 10.4.3, JSON export files contained the root node. EnterWorks 10.4.3 and later do not include the root node. If you are using JSON export files that depend on the root node being present, do not upgrade to EnterWorks 10.4.3, 10.4.4, 10.4.5, or 10.4.6. Versions of EnterWorks after 10.4.6 will have an option that will allow you to configure EnterWorks to include or exclude the root node in JSON export files. If you have already upgraded to EnterWorks 10.4.3, 10.4.4, 10.4.5, or 10.4.6, and you are using JSON export files that depend on the root node being present, contact Precisely EnterWorks Support for help addressing the issue. Searches and Filters
-
When an export is launched from a Shortcuts widget and the export uses a Saved Search with OR conditions, all records are exported instead of only the desired records. (Support 62403, EW-6440, EW-6875, EW-7763)
Workarounds:
-
Open the desired repository in a repository view, create the Saved Search, then export the results of the Saved Search.
-
Or, access the Saved Search through the Shortcut widget, but edit the search, save it as an OR search, and then it will export the correct count.
-
User Security
-
When a user is impersonating another user, initially the Feature bar displays only the repositories the impersonated user has view access for, which is correct. After the impersonator opens, edits, and closes a repository, the Feature bar then displays all the repositories the impersonated user has read or view access for. The impersonator should only see the repositories the impersonated user has view access for. (EW-8234)
Workarounds:
-
The user can refresh the workspace by selecting the refresh icon on the far right of the toolbar.
-
Or, an administrator can disable the Feature bar and instead provide access to repositories through the Shortcuts widget.
