This table lists the input for GeocodeAddressesAUS.

Parameter

Format

Description

Data.AddressLine1

String [50]

The first address line or a street intersection.

Data.AddressLine2

String [50]

The second address line or a street intersection.

To specify a street intersection, use and, &, at, or @. For example, PEARL & 28th. GeocodeAddressAUS does not match intersections when processing in CASS mode.

You may enter an address range instead of an individual address number. For example, 10-12 FRONT ST. For additional information, see Address Range Matching.

Data.City

String [50]

The name of the municipality, such as a city or town.

Data.County

String [50]

The meaning of county varies by country.

Data.FirmName

String [50]

The name of a business. The geocoding process attempts to match the input firm name to the recognized firm names in the USPS data for a higher quality match. If the firm name is not in the USPS data, the firm name is ignored when matching and is returned with the output.

Data.Locality

String [50]

The meaning of locality varies by country. Generally a locality is a village in rural areas or it may be a suburb in urban areas. When used, a locality typically appears on the last line of the address with the postcode.

Data.StateProvince

String [50]

The name or abbreviation of the state.
