  The Spectrum Technology Platform client tools are applications that you use to administer your server and design and run dataflows and process flows. You must install your Spectrum Technology Platform server before installing the client tools.

To upgrade Enterprise Designer

Uninstall the existing client tools by going to Start > Precisely > Client Tools > Setup.
Open the Spectrum Technology Platform Welcome Page at:
http://SpectrumServer:Port/dcg/

The default port is 8080.
Click Platform Client Tools > Desktop.
If Microsoft .NET Framework 4.8 or later is not already installed on your Windows operating system, first click Download Microsoft .NET Framework 4.8 to download and update Microsoft .NET Framework on the client machine.
This is a newer version of the .NET Framework than was required in previous releases. Versions of Microsoft .NET Framework 4.8 or later are included in Windows 10 updates starting from May 2019.
Click Download Installer.
Run the installer.
