Uninstalling a Module

This procedure removes an installed module from a machine. In a clustered environment, you must perform this procedure on every server node in the cluster.

Follow these steps to remove a module from the Spectrum Technology Platform server.

  1. Open the Apps & features tool.
    To do this, search for "apps" in the Windows Search bar. Select Apps & features in the results.
    Alternatively, you can use Programs and Features in Control Panel.
  2. Scroll to the Precisely module that you want to uninstall.
    You can enter all or part of a module name in the Search this list.
  3. Click the module name.
    Note: Choosing Spectrum Technology Platform Server in this list will uninstall the platform and all installed modules.
  4. Click the Uninstall button.
  5. When prompted that This app and its related info will be removed, click Uninstall.
  6. On the Introduction page of the wizard, click Uninstall.
  7. When the wizard prompts that All items were successfully uninstalled, click Done.
    You can repeat these steps for any other modules that you want to remove.
