Upgrade from 2020.1 S54 patch or later

If the 2020.1 S54 patch or later has been installed on your Spectrum server, perform this procedure to install Upgrade_s54to20221_Windows.zip before you perform the Spectrum 2022.1.0 upgrade.

For a clustered configuration, perform this procedure before you upgrade each node in the cluster. For a clustered distributed configuration, perform this procedure before you upgrade each database configuration.

Note: In this procedure, SpectrumDirectory is the directory where the Spectrum Technology Platform server is installed (for example, C:\Program Files\Precisely\Spectrum).
  1. Stop the Spectrum Technology Platform server if it is not stopped already.
    To stop the server, right-click the Spectrum Technology Platform icon in the Windows system tray and click Stop Spectrum.
  2. Back up, then delete these files.
    Note: x is the version number.
    • SpectrumDirectory\repository\plugins\

      apoc-x.x.x.x-all.jar

    • SpectrumDirectory\repository\lib\

      jackson-annotations-x.x.x.jar
      jackson-core-x.x.x.jar
      jackson-databind-x.x.x.jar
      jackson-jaxrs-base-x.x.x.jar
      jackson-jaxrs-json-provider-x.x.x.jar
      jackson-module-jaxb-annotations-x.x.x.jar

  3. Use the link provided here to download the ZIP file containing the product update.

  4. Extract the contents of the downloaded ZIP file (Upgrade_s54to20221.zip) to the directory where the Spectrum Technology Platform server is installed (SpectrumDirectory).
  5. Do not start the Spectrum Technology Platform server.
After you finish this procedure, complete the Spectrum Server Upgrade.
