Spectrum Spatial

Update Description Download
2019.1.0 S07 New in this product update:
  • Set case sensitivity for SQL searches for the TAB file Data Provider.
  • Configure the PB LI API Geosearch service for address searches.
  • Set a maximum zoom level when creating external tile configurations.

This product update fixes these issues:

  • For Mapping SOAP requests, using a null value with IndividualValueTheme does not work.
  • Dynamic elements saved with a print template do not display without opening and closing Spatial Manager.
  • Adding a watermark in Spatial Manager forces its height and width into a 2:1 aspect ratio in Spectrum Spatial Analyst.
  • Spatial Manager displays watermarks on a white background making it hard to see a transparent watermark with white text.
  • When adding routing databases in a non-English Management Console, the datasets do not display in the list.
  • New users with a newly added role are unable to get results for routing services.

2019.1.0 S12 New in this product update:
  • Select a database and country when editing or creating a new global geocoding configuration.

While creating a new global geocoding configuration, administrators can now select a Spectrum database and the supported countries for the chosen database. Previously, Spectrum Spatial always used the default database, and administrators had to enter the country code manually.

  • Use a specific geocoding database and country for global geocoder configurations.

While creating a new global geocoding configuration, administrators can now select the supported countries for a specific database from a picklist in Spectrum Spatial Manager. Previously, administrators had to enter the country code manually.

  • Choose a speed profile for the developer API Geozone service.

While creating a new routing configuration for the Precisely developer's API Geozone service, administrators can now enable the Historic traffic option in Spectrum Spatial Manager. Previously, this option was only available for routing configurations that used the on-premise routing API.

This update also provides a series of fixes for Spatial, Routing, Spectrum Spatial Manager, and LISDK. For a list of fixes, see the Release Notes (link is below).

2019.1.0 S08

Spectrum Spatial Analyst is a standalone application that installs and updates separately from the Spectrum Technology Platform.

New in this product update:

  • Added support for using the PB LI APIs GeoSearch service in Spectrum Spatial Analyst to find addresses. External geocoder configurations using GeoSearch can be created in Spectrum Spatial Manager.
  • For external tile services, Spectrum Spatial Analyst now honors the new maximum zoom setting that is defined in Spectrum Spatial Manager.
  • Users can export the current map image as a PNG file directly from the Spectrum Spatial Analyst user interface.
  • Users can select and merge individual rings for drive time/distance polygons and concentric circle annotations.
  • A number of enhancements have been added for extensibility developers, such as the ability to add custom layers and specify their order.

This release fixes the following. For full details of all of the new features, a list of bug fixes and installation instructions, download and review the Release Notes.

  • Migrating map projects from 2018.2 to 2019.1 changes the display projection of the base maps.

2019.1.0 S13

Spectrum Spatial Analyst is a standalone application that installs and updates separately from the Spectrum Technology Platform.

New in this product update:

  • Use a specific geocoding database and country in the search.

In combination with the changes in the S12 patch described above, geocoding configurations created for a specific database and country can now be used in Spectrum Spatial Analyst. As a result, when a Spectrum Spatial Analyst user searches for an address, ZIP Code, or place name, the search results are fetched from the selected database and country only. Previously, Spectrum Spatial Analyst supported only a single Geocoding database.

  • Choose a speed profile for drive time polygons using Precisely developer's API.

In combination with S12 patch changes for the Routing configuration, the Spectrum Spatial Analyst users can now choose a historic speed profile such as None, AMPeak, PMPeak, OffPeak, and Night when creating drive time polygons. The polygons of a drive-time will change according to the selected time bucket. Previously, this option was only available for routing configurations that used the on-premise routing API.
