Working with communications created from external data

In certain circumstances, external data can be pushed into Interactive to create a communication. A Start Communication tooltip is displayed when hovering over the communication's Name on the Communications list view. This tooltip is displayed when the communication is assigned to you and is in a New or Active New state.

To start working on the communication:

Click on the Name field in the list view to display details for the selected communication.

Click Start Communication to start working on the communication.

Note: If the communication is not assigned to a user, the community administrator will have to make the appropriate assignment.
