Asset Promotion facilitates the promotion of assets between test, staging and production environments.

Overview

Asset promotion allows importing or exporting multiple assets and their configuration, from one EngageOne™ environment to another, at one time.

Previously, only one asset could be imported or exported at a time.

There are two import types: open import and promotion bundle.

Open import - import assets that have been created and published from EngageOne™ Designer.
If appropriate, use the Filter field to limit the asset files to be imported.
Promotion bundle - import an asset bundle that was exported from the Export tab. Promotion bundles include assets and asset descriptor files.

The following assets are supported for import, export and deployment:

Interactive templates.
Non-interactive templates.
Active content.
Folders - note that folders can be a type of template, active content or message content. However, asset promotion only supports folders for templates and active content.
Document class definitions.
Delivery options.
Devices.

The following roles in EngageOne™ can use asset promotion:

Community administrator
Template manager

The System administrator role has access to the Asset Promotion SOAP API.
