%%LPC_REASON11
Finalist reason code 11. This reason code provides information on how Finalist processed the unit number portion of the address. This system variable is only populated if <CASSTYPE> is set to LPC or NATIVE.
- For Finalist on mainframe systems, the value is one of the following:
- 0—The unit number in the input address was either valid as is or there was no unit designator in the input address.
- 1—Finalist could not validate the address because there was a problem with the letters in the range and/or the fraction in the range. The possible problems are:
- The letter in the input range is not within the range in the USPS® database.
Example: The input range is 20C and range from the USPS® database is 20A to 20B.
- There is a letter in the input range but the length of letter portion is not equal to the length of the letter portion in the USPS® database.
Example: The input range is AKE1 and the range in the USPS® database is AK1 to AK1. In this example the input range has three letters while the USPS® database has only two letters in the range.
- The fraction part of the input range is not within the USPS® database range.
Example: The input range is 733 1/2 and the range in the USPS® database is 733 1/4 to 733 1/4.
- There is fraction in the input range but no fraction is found in the USPS® database range, and the USPS® database range has letters in it.
Example: The input range is 20A 1/2 and the range from the USPS® database is 20A to 20B.
- The letter in the input range is not within the range in the USPS® database.
- 2—Finalist could not validate the unit number because there were multiple possible matches.
- 3—The firm name is missing or invalid, or Finalist found multiple firm names for the address.
- 4—Finalist could not validate the unit number because the unit number contains invalid data.
- 9—Finalist could not validate the unit number and no additional information is available.
- For Finalist on UNIX, Linux, or Windows, the value is one of the following:
- 0—The address was successfully coded.
- 9—The address could not be coded.
