Finalist reason code 12. This reason code indicates the address type that Finalist assumed when attempting to standardize the input address. For example, a value of 1 would mean that Finalist treated the input address as a rural route/highway contract address and applied the appropriate algorithms when processing the address. This system variable is only populated if <CASSTYPE> is set to LPC or NATIVE.
  • For Finalist on mainframe systems, the value is one of the following:
    • 0—Finalist treated the address as a street address, firm address, or highrise address.
    • 1—Finalist treated the address as a rural route or highway contract address.
    • 2—Finalist treated the address as a PO box address.
    • 3—Finalist treated the address as a general delivery address.
    • 9—Finalist could not validate the address and no additional information is available.
  • For Finalist on UNIX, Linux, or Windows, the value is one of the following:
    • 0—The address was successfully coded.
    • 9—The address could not be coded.
