      As well as the standard Hub logs, when troubleshooting issues with a specific IBM i LPAR, there is an option to create log files that just include the events from a pipeline for that IBM i LPAR.

      If problems are occurring when running via the Service or Daemon, then consult the systems logs either via:
    - Errors in the Configuration Tool logs
      The Configuration Tool attempts to make connections to Hub at regular intervals, to retrieve Pipeline information. The Configuration tool will log errors when Hub is not running, to inform that the information can’t be retrieved. These errors indicate that the Configuration Tool is working as expected, but that the Hub service needs to be started.

The jobs that execute in the EVSBS Subsystem on the IBM i LPAR:

EVCCTLPROC	EVCCTL	Controls the processing of pre-defined API’s used in command processing.
EVMSGQMON	EVCQSCAN	Monitors message queues configured for SCAN mode monitoring, collecting messages depending on the message IDs added to the filter file.
EVPERFPROC	EVPERFM	Gathers performance data.
EVSCMDPROC	EVC050	Executes the command processor.
EVSHSTPROC	EVHSTCL	Extracts messages at a configured time sequence from the QHST message queue depending on the message IDs added to the filter file.
EVTCTLPROC	EVCMSG	Controls TCP/IP connectivity between Hub and the Ironstream Agents for IBM i.
EVJRNPROC	EVMONJRNL	Monitors journals for entries as specified in the “Journal Monitors” section of the configuration.
